In any case, consult the technical characteristics of our catalogue.Before placing the product, the wall or floor must be perfectly level, either with leveling paste or mortar, forming the necessary slopes (2%) to prevent water stagnation.It is recommended, in terraces or uncovered areas, waterproofing and drainage connected to a drain below the flooring.A special glue cement for exteriors should be used and always place the pieces with a joint greater than 5 mm., made with the special product for exteriors, which completely covers the joint and prevents water from filtering through it.Expansion joints must be made around the entire perimeter, every 6-9 m2 and respect the structural expansion joints.
A notched trowel should always be used to apply the adhesive cement and solidify by hitting it with a rubber hammer. There must not be holes under the surface of the piece, that is, it must be completely solid.
Do not wet the pieces before placing them. The pieces of rectified product are always placed dry to avoid possible deformation of the material.Prior to placing the rectified product, the wall must be roughened, that is, plumb, with mortar. The minimum setting time for such a surface should be 2-3 days.Once the mortar is completely dry, the adhesive cement must be applied with an indented trowel. The instructions for kneading and placement indicated by the manufacturer on the product packaging itself must be strictly followed.For correct placement, a minimum joint between pieces of 2 mm is recommended.The fixing, placement and settling of the pieces will never be done by hitting the material.The walls must be completed. 7. Protect pavements from premature traffic during the hardening phase.Once all the pieces are in place and the adhesive cement is dry, the grouting will proceed with the grouting mortar and a rubber trowel. The instructions for kneading and placement indicated by the manufacturer on the product packaging itself must be strictly followed.
Once the material has been grouted, it must be cleaned with a damp sponge, before the final hardening of the grouting materials.
